SEASON OF SHOWS
Our Season of Shows Program annually produces up to five professional quality mainstage productions, including musicals, comedies, and dramas. Lumina’s established brand of storytelling, which often involves a deep dive to uncover the more profound, sometimes hidden meanings in the stories we bring to the stage, is combined with our dedication to inspire and uplift those on both sides of the curtain. These are the things that have consistently set us apart and we yearn to increase our brand to be a catalyst in the restoration of the culture through the power of the arts.
ARTS CENTER
Our Arts Center will provide a safe haven for all different forms of creative expression. Our Season of Shows will allow performance opportunities both onstage and backstage, Masterclasses will provide training in a variety of artistic disciplines, and our Playwright Program will assist and encourage those with a story to tell to bring their work to the stage. The ability to foster the future of authentic story telling through a safe space in which creatives can create is especially exciting for us.
CHILDREN’S THEATRE PROGRAM
Our Children’s Theatre Program provides an avenue of discovery in which children learn the art of storytelling through live theatre. In this program, the children in the marginalized community we serve are invited OFF THE STREETS AND ONTO THE STAGE! They experience the True, the Good, and the Beautiful, while growing in confidence, self-esteem, and creativity in ways only possible through the performing arts.
